Strapless Multicolor Size 0 Ball Gown by Gunne Sax Vintage

Early 80s Vintage Gunne Sax by Jessica McClintock Light Mint Green/Blue Strapless Gown with Lace and Sequin Detail

Measurements in pics, no stretch (clearly too tight for my mannequin and required tacking down with tape)

This gorgeous gown is from the collector's era of Gunne Sax-- Late 70s early 80s. On vintage resale sites these gowns are going for 3 or $400. This one is in remarkable condition for its age, and I found only 1 small pick in the fabric near the front lace detail and 2 very small spots, 1 near the left side hem and just pin size on the neckline fold. It's possible the latter two could be removed by a dry cleaner.

Obviously sizing was smaller back than so I imagine most wearers would need to add a corset back, but this could also be a fabulous first diva gown for your young voice students who are just getting good enough to sing in public.
