I couldn't get it to sit this way on the dress form due to the size differential, but it does look like it is cut to be worn completely off the shoulder. The measurement pictures show it being flat laid.

This would be a beautiful option for something like an opera on tap, a cabaret performance, or even a flashier audition. The wine and silver glitter combination can work in any season. 30" long, but keep in mind off shoulder styles need less length than regular styles.
